Freemodel’s scope of work for this project included:
- All house: Refinished 12 stairs and all existing interior hardwood flooring. Patched and painted all interior walls, ceilings, and trim. Replaced all door hardware, hinges, smoke/CO2 detectors, and light bulbs, and removed obsolete communication lines. Performed deep interior cleaning and washed all interior and exterior windows.
- Exterior & Garage: Patched and painted exterior stucco, walls, trim, front door, back porch, stairs, and handrails while repairing exterior dry rot. Replaced damaged garage door T11 panels, removed garage flooring, patched and painted the interior, and swapped out eight insulated ceiling tile pieces.
- Primary Bath: Demolished existing tiles, shower enclosure, vanity, and fixtures to build a new curbed shower with a frameless enclosure. Installed a new tile floor, tile shower walls, a prefab niche, a toilet, an extraction fan, a single vanity, a faucet, a mirror, and matching hardware.
- Basement Bath: Stripped wood paneling, demolished the legacy bathroom, and installed a replacement pocket door. Installed a custom-sized bathtub with tile wall surrounds, a prefab niche, a fixed shower head, an extraction fan, a toilet, a single vanity, a faucet, a mirror, and hardware.
- Kitchen: Gutted all original counters, cabinets, and appliances to reface cabinets with flat panels, open a wall pass-through, and install quartz countertops and backsplashes. Provided an undermount sink, faucet, new range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and an island exhaust fan. Relocated plumbing and electrical to accommodate the new layout.
- Living & Dining Room: Removed an interior pony wall, repaired the local hardwood floor gap, and patched the adjacent lath and plaster drywall. Replaced two privacy glass panes on the front porch.
- Bedrooms & Basement Spaces: Installed new hardwood flooring in one bedroom, the kitchen, and the breakfast area, and added baseboards and hanging closet rods. Laid new luxury vinyl flooring over existing basement and laundry floor tiles. Repaired basement ceiling cracks, built a laundry room ductwork soffit, fixed a kitchen sink pipe leak, extended the sump pump drain to a French drain, and raised the staircase ceiling.
