Freemodel’s scope of work for this project included:

  • All house: Removed old carpets to install new carpeting on the upper level and stairs. Patched and painted all walls, doors, baseboards, and trim throughout the interior, keeping the architectural ceiling beams natural. Replaced all door knobs, mismatched light switches, and outlets with new brushed nickel finishes, and updated all carbon monoxide and dual detectors.
  • Exterior & Yards: Fully prepped, patched, and painted the front exterior walls, trim, and garage door. Power-washed the driveway, pathways, and the upstairs bathroom patio. Replaced the main mailbox, post, and front house numbers. Overhauled the front and backyards by clearing weeds, trimming trees and dead branches, adding mulch borders, and installing fresh evergreen and Dwarf Mondo grass.
  • Primary Bedroom & Closets: Installed a new patio sliding door and Victorian-style trim. Cut obsolete cable wires, capped old light fixtures above the bed, and stained the primary deck to match the main backyard deck. Replaced track light heads in both the bedroom and the primary closet.
  • Kitchen & Wet Bar: Painted the kitchen cabinets, stained the island, re-grouted the countertops, glazed the kitchen sink, and replaced 33 cabinet knobs with modern pulls. At the wet bar, painted the cabinets, glazed the bar countertop, replaced the bar faucet with brushed nickel, installed a new wall light fixture, and swapped out all cabinet pulls.
  • Living & Dining Room: Installed a brand new patio sliding door in the dining room. In the family room, removed the fireplace insert and painted the interior of the fireplace. Fully staged all rooms with curated furniture and design accents for 60 days before a final inside/outside window and deep clean.
  • Garage & Laundry Room: Painted the garage walls, ceiling, and built-in cabinets from the inside. Installed new drywall behind the garage refrigerator area, patched and primed surfaces, and replaced the garage door floodlights with motion-sensor units. Painted the laundry room walls and cabinets.
  • Inspections & Home Repairs: Addressed specific items from pest and home inspection reports: executed a full 3-week rodent exclusion program in the crawl space (including trap setting, trace cleaning, and disinfection). Replaced damaged crawl space plumbing pipes, sealed a skylight gap, cleared clogged gutters, patched structural chimney cracks, and repaired rotted external wood planks, siding, and deck stairs. Replaced rusted conduits and installed a new exterior floodlight.
